Pupils and parents from Alford Primary School had a night to remember, with a special performance of Scota-land, thanks to the Bank of Scotland Imaginate Festival Wee Night Out tour.
Eighteen primary schools from across Scotland have been selected to receive a free staging of Andy Cannon and Mull Theatre’s Scota-land.
One of the main aims of Wee Night Out is to bring a festival performance into the heart of a community, bringing families together and strengthening parental and community involvement, while raising valued funds for the participating schools.
Elizabeth MacLeod, Head Teacher at Alford Primary School, said: “The school was thrilled to have been chosen to host A Wee Night Out. Not only did it provide us with a fantastic reason for gathering together parents and pupils alike, it gave us with the chance to raise vital funds for the school.
We’re very grateful to the Bank of Scotland and Imaginate for making this possible. It was memorable night and one that was enjoyed by all.”
