Culter went back to the top of the Superleague after an entertaining 90 minutes at Crombie Park.
The home team came back from a goal down to grab all three points thanks to a Jamie McAllister double.
New goalkeeper Neil Duffy made his debut and his first job was to pick the ball out of the net in the first minute. A free kick was floated into the box and headed back across goal by Campbell and Chris MOUNTFORD knocked the ball home from close range.
Culter went straight on the attack and McAllister should have done better when he blasted over from a great postion but the striker made amends in the 9th minute.
Jamie McALLISTER latched on to a Taylor pass and slid the ball under the advancing Sweeney to level the scores.
The home team had a let off in the 24th minute when Duffy carried the ball out of the box and the resultant free kick was quickly taken only to be blocked for a corner by Wilson and Reid.
Mountford volleyed over from inside the six yard box and then Duffy clutched the ball out of the air as Madle’s shot headed towards the top corner.
McAllister outstripped the away defence only to see his powerful drive palmed away by Sweeney. Culter were well on top at this stage and Taylor’s close range finish was chalked off for offside that must have been a close call.
McAllister headed wide, Craik thumped a shot past the post then McAllister blasted a shot into the side netting from a tight angle as Culter searched for a winner.
With the match now in injury Jamie McALLISTER eventually got the breakthrough. He forced Sweeney into a save but the ball landed back at the striker’s feet and he had the simple task of knocking the ball in the empty net to give the home team the points.
