Seventh call off for Culter

After Referee Graham Beaton’s pitch inspection at Crombie Park on Friday, he had no hesitation in declaring the frozen ground unplayable.

The third round Emirates Scottish Junior Cup Tie against Broxburn Athletic is now due to be played on Saturday ( January 15) or the first Saturday thereafter when weather conditions permit.

This Cup Tie was originally due to be played on November 27.

It brings the number of soccerless Saturdays to seven – five postponements plus two festive season holidays.

A Committee meeting of Culter Football Club will be held in Crombie Park Pavilion, Culter, on January 11 at 7pm.

Culter have been favoured with a home draw in the 3rd Round of the GA Engineering Inter Regional Cup to play Broughty Athletic.

The tie is due to be played on February 19, Kick Off 2.15 p.m. – played to a finish – straight to penalties if level at 90 minutes.

The culb was saddened by the passing of loyal supporter Frank Milne who died on December 20 and sent their condolences to his wife Helen and family on their sad loss.
