The Bank of Scotland National Age Group Championships held at Grangemouth last weekend saw three members of Banchory Stonehaven Athletics Club claim a clutch of bronze, silver and gold medals.
Competing in the U14 age group on Saturday, 13-year-old Alisha Rees from Torphins took the double with convincing wins in both the 100 and 200 metres.

In the afternoon, Alisha again won her heat, and after a lengthy delay to events on the track due to horrendous weather conditions, came out and took the 200 metre title in a time of 27.16s, with Katie Browne from Gala Harriers second again with a time of 27.77s.
Michael Ferguson and Kelsey Stewart from Stonehaven also had great success.

Eve ran in the 200metres with a time of 29.37, a new personal best and ran a strong time of 2.32.32 in her 800 metres heat, but missing out on a place in the final.
