A 42-strong squad of swimmers aged 10-15 representing South Aberdeenshire Swimming (SAS) at Stirling ASC’s annual Autumn Meet last month.

The SAS squad took home no fewer than 63 medals in total, over half of which were gold, after competing in a programme comprising 200m events in butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke, freestyle, and individual medley, as well as 400m freestyle, and 50m sprints in the four strokes.

Several swimmers found themselves on the podium a number of times, but special mention must be given to Alicia Lumsden (12), who won four gold medals and a bronze, and Crawford Evans (13), who won three gold medals.

Pictured are the 10-12 year old squad, who competed on Saturday, and the 13-15 year olds, who competed on Sunday.
