A new exhibition at Banchory’s Woodend Barn will provide an opportunity to view a display of exciting and colourful art later this month.

From Wednesday February 18 to Friday March 6, artists@thebarn will showcase a wide range of art produced by the many talented people of all ages who participated in classes and workshops at Woodend Barn during 2014.

The exhibition includes work from ‘Singing for Joy’, ‘Third Stage’, ‘Cool art for Kids’, ‘Barn Art for Teenagers’, ‘Deeside Writers’, ‘Alzheimers Art Group’, ‘Oil Painters’, ‘Woodend Wood Engravers’ and ‘Seasonal Dishes’.

Lorraine Grant, Director of Woodend Barn, said: “This is a wonderful opportunity for the public to see what goes on at the Barn and hopefully inspire some new people to take up a creative hobby or join one of our groups.”

Members of the public are invited to attend a free opening event on February 18 between 12.30 and 2pm. The exhibition will be open Tuesdays to Fridays from 12-4pm.
