The Gould Piano Trio will perform a recent work by leading composer James MacMillan in a concert at Banchory’s Woodend Barn on Sunday, April 26, at 7pm.
For over 20 years the ensemble has remained at the forefront of the international chamber music scene. The Gould Piano Trio has toured with regular performances at major festivals and venues in the UK and abroad, including regular visits to the United States.
The Banchory performance will feature Scottish composer James MacMillan’s high-spirited Piano Trio No. 2, co-commissioned and premiered by the ensemble last year. Schubert’s Trio in B flat and Dvořák’s Trio in G minor will also be included in the programme.
Adults cost £11, concessions £10, under 16s £5.50 in advance.
