Tarland events at MacRobert Hall

Two events organised by local groups will be held in Tarland’s MacRobert Hall this month.

Cromar Future Group is hosting a talk by Dr Davide Dionisi, of University of Aberdeen’s school of engineering, on Wednesday, October 19, at 7.30pm.

The subject is ‘How can we make Energy from Waste?” and the talk will be of special interest to farmers, rural businesses and residents.

The evening is described as “coffee with a slice of science”.

Cromar History Group will have Ruth Duncan, curator of the Gordon Highlanders’ Museum in Aberdeen, as guest speaker on Thursday, October 20, at 7.30pm.

Her talk will feature the part played in the Battle of the Somme by the Gordon Highlanders Regiment.

Entry is £4. Tea and coffee on arrival.
