Kemnay based author Alan Crawford has a long standing interest in trees and woodland and works as a woodland consultant, with most of his time currently spent on the Forestry Commission’s Native Woodland Survey of Scotland. This is Alan’s 1st book.

Monymusk based illustrator Susan Gray - a Fine Art graduate from Grays School of Art in Aberdeen - finds inspiration in the natural world around her and spent a lot of time in the Scottish countryside to research this project.

The original Artwork from the book will be on display for the first time and they will be reading extracts from the stories, and leading a walk, supported by the Garioch Ranger, to discover some of the trees featured in these tales.

The exhibition will be from 12 noon and the guided walk and storytelling at 2pm.

The event is free, and you can book your place through the Bennachie Centre on 01467 681470, or just turn up on the day, (though places will be limited). All ages welcome.
