Milton Art Gallery will welcome visitors from next Tuesday.

The art gallery, which is based within the Milton of Crathes complex near Banchory, will reopen its doors on Tuesday, April 27 following the latest coronavirus lockdown measures.

Showcasing many Scottish artists and makers, the Milton Art Gallery is home to a collection of original paintings alongside a diverse range of ceramics, jewellery, prints, bronzes and glass work with something for every taste and budget.

The art gallery will be open from Tuesday to Sunday between 10.30am and 4.30pm.

Visitors are warmly welcomed.

The Milton Art Gallery is situated at Milton of Crathes, just minutes from Banchory, and is operated by the Leys Estate Group.

The Milton Art Gallery opened in 1997 with the aim of supporting and encouraging local artists.

The gallery has grown since then into a well-renowned showcase for aspiring and known artists living and working in Scotland.

Since its inception the gallery has built strong relationships with many notable, well established Scottish Contemporary artists including Francis Boag, Kanita Sim, Peter Goodfellow, Iain Carby, Debbie Neill, Sandie Youngson, Kathleen Bremner and Jenny Musker to name a few.

It also boasts the largest selection of bronzes in the North East.

It showcases a permanent, but changing, collection of original paintings from these and other artists alongside an impressive range of ceramics, jewellery, prints, bronzes and glass work.

Located within a renovated farm steading complex, it provides an attractive destination for a day out including neighbouring businesses The Milton Brasserie, The Wee Boorachie and Atholl Countrywear.

There is also a children’s play area and the Visitor Centre for the Royal Deeside Railway Preservation Society nearby.
