Aberdeen-based Christian charity, The Kerusso Trust, welcomed its principle Malawian partner to the UK for a six-week intensive tour of Scotland and parts of England, with a stop off in Banchory at the weekend.
Rev Connex Ijalasi, country director of J-Life Malawi, spoke at Banchory Christian Fellowship church on Sunday, March 22, at the 11am service.
During the service he was interviewed about the partnership between the Kerusso Trust and J-Life Malawi, and in particular their work in developing a basic bible and ministry training programme for church leaders in rural Malawi.
The Kerusso Trust is a Christian mission charity set up by former Banchory residents Jonathan and Ruth Groves in 2011 after they visited Malawi twice on short-term mission trips, built friendships and heard first-hand of the needs of the Malawian Church.
