Defibrillator newly installed in Ballater Halls for safety
A defibrillator has been installed in the Victoria and Albert Halls, Ballater, as a safety measure alongside other equipment.
Aside from the new defibrillator, there are new First Aid kits and an Evac chair.
The defibrillator was purchased thanks to generous donations by The Royal Lochnagar Distillery, the Ballater and District Ladies’, and Men’s Probus Clubs, the Glenmuick Church Guild and with support and advice of the Ballater Health Clinic and the Medical Amenities Fund.
Although primarily for use by those attending meetings in the Hall complex in emergency situations, it will be also accessible to the public. Many halls users have been trained in First Aid and they will be given a course on the use of the equipment when clubs meet in the autumn.
