Earlier this month over 100 people braved the poor weather to take part in the Alford KT Bike run. I was a successful, if not wet, event.
Money raised will go to macMillan care, The Alford Defibrillator fund, Grampian Transport Museum and Rotary Foundation.
The event was organised by a community committee headed up by Alford & District Rotary Club.
The burgers provided by Graeme Barber, Butcher Alford and teas provided by Gladys Cruikshank were most welcome at the end of the run.
The interact Club for Alford Academy welcomed the riders home. The organisers would like to thank the sponsors and the many helpers who made it such a successful run.
