The BBA (Banchory Business Association) held their annual ‘BBA- BBQ’ this weekend with a change of venue.
Members and guests enjoyed a relaxed afternoon on the Banks of the River Dee at the Fishing Hut on the Crathes Waters, by permission of Mr & Mrs Alexander Burnett of Leys, who attended the event also.
Around 35 members arrived for some marvellous food supplied by local caterer ‘The Deesidedly Tasty Company’ - who provided a fabulous array of summer food.
Mr Dick Taylor of Taylors of Banchory gave the vote of thanks to the committee, and also presented Mr & Mrs Burnett with a gift from the members.
The next event for the busy BBA calendar is the September meeting ,with a guest speaker to be announced next week.
The BBA recently had a recruitment drive, and are delighted to welcome more new members to the group.
Over the next four months, there will be further guest speakers, The Traders Ball will be on October 31, with a Halloween flavour, at the Banchory Lodge Hotel, a Christmas Shopping Extravaganza at Raemoir House Hotel in November , the Big Switch On of the 2015 Christmas Tree, and the members annual Christmas Drinks.
