Police Scotland is investigating the theft of a white and blue Yamaha Raptor quad bike from the Drumoak area of Aberdeenshire.
The theft is believed to have happened at around 9:45pm yesterday (Thursday 10 December). The quad bike was seen to be heading in the direction of Aberdeen and was seen in the Hazlehead area of the city.
PC Grant Hardie, who is investigating the theft, said: “Though Drumoak and Aberdeenshire enjoy relatively low levels of crime, it is important that residents take steps to discourage criminals by ensuring that their cars and homes are securely locked. Keep your valuables out of sight and remember that a simple act such as keeping your car keys out of easy reach of your door can be a vital step in preventing a crime from taking place.
“We are appealing for anyone who may have seen the quad bike or has any information on the theft to come forward. Anyone with information can contact Police Scotland on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 if you wish to remain anonymous.”
