A Banchory family is preparing to take part in this years Paris Marathon on Sunday April 12, in aid of CLIC Sargent, a charity close to their hearts.
Nick Sangster , Chloe Sangster and cousin Scott Birse, are all heading to the French capital to raise funds for the cause. The Sangster family have friends in Aberdeen who sadly lost their 11-year-old daughter to the Leukemia a few years ago, and CLIC Sargent offered invaluable support.
The runners hosted a Casino Evening at Banchory Scout Hut on Saturday March 21, which raised over £3500. Guests enjoyed various casino tables followed by a Magic Comedy show by local magician Carl House as the Great Hootini.
The crowd of over 100 enjoyed a raffle, auction and light supper before dancing the night away to local Oblivion Disco. Pictured: Scott Birse, Jenny Birse, Chloe Sangster, Nick Sangster and Hannah Sangster.
