The Banchory Singers commence their autumn programme with a concert at Banchory East Church on Saturday, October 13.

The evening starts at 7pm and the audience will be entertained to a wide variety of choral items including old Scottish and English country ballads, gospel spirituals and some lively modern pieces.

The programme will include solo and duet items performed by members of the choir.

All are welcome and entrance will be £7 person and £5 concession with refreshments served during the interval.

Proceeds to go to Banchory charities, The Scolty Centre and Friends of Bellfield.

Such is the popularity of choral singing, that the Banchory Singers have grown to a membership in excess of 70 people and have a number of engagements each year.

Their next public performance will be at Banchory Town Hall in early December.
