Clydesdale Bank customers in Banchory are to have Saturday opening.
The branch in the town’s High Street will open between 9.15am and 4pm by the end of the year.

The new hours were announced by the bank as part of a wider programme of investment, restructuring and improvements across the UK.
The Banchory branch is one of 39 which will start opening on Saturdays.
It is currently open from 9.15am until 4.30pm from Monday to Friday.
Clydesdale bosses say the announcement reflects the changing needs of customers who want to access more day-to-day banking services quickly, on the move and outside normal business hours.
Gavin Opperman, customer banking director, said: “Changing how, where and when we deliver our services is an essential part of how we evolve alongside our customers’ needs.
“We must be able to deliver more for customers when and where they want it most.”
He added: “I recognise the value many customers place in face-to-face banking, and I hope the ongoing improvements to our branches, and the investment we have made to enable customers to do day-to-day banking at local Post Offices, underline our firm support and commitment.”
The bank confirmed that 26 unsustainable and lapsed-lease outlets will close, including ones in the Central Belt and the Highlands, but investment to improve branch services will continue.
The bank has already announced that it will launch a new digital banking service for tablets and smartphones this Spring, called “B”.
