The winners and runners-up have been announced for the Banchory Business Association (BBA) 2016 shop window competition.
A total of 40 shops took part in the contest, 36 in Banchory and four at Milton of Crathes. Children had to spot an unusual item which shopkeepers placed in each of their windows.
BBA treasurer Angela Muir organised the competition which attracted a great deal of interest during the summer.
The draw was made at chairman Dick Taylor’s business and young Ava Cleal drew the winning tickets.
First place went to Anya Wraight, second was Robbie Innes, and third Alice Ferguson.
Angela said they had about 50 returned forms with only six youngsters having all the correct answers.
The competition ran during July and August.
