A Deeside hotel and restaurant is in the running for a leading award.
The luxury Douneside House in Tarland has been shortlisted in the prestigious 2017 Conde Nast Johansens Hotel Awards for Excellence.
The business is listed in the best Newcomer/Back on the Scene category.
Douneside House was officially re-opened in July this year by Prince Michael of Kent following a significant investment by owners the MacRobert Trust. It reopened to guests in June.
Marcel Wassen, the hotel’s general manager, said: “We are delighted to be short-listed for this award.
“Douneside is a truly special place and it’s fantastic that this is being recognised – particularly since we only re-opened in June.”
