Grampian Transport Museum in Alford held a classic and vintage vehicle gathering last Sunday.

Visitors to the museum enjoyed fine weather at the event which allowed enthusiasts to drop by and show off their motors.

Anyone with a pre-1990 road vehicle could turn up and use the gathering to meet friends, swap stories and ideas.

Mike Ward, curator of the Grampian Transport Museum, said: “It was a wonderfully relaxed day for us and we had over 1000 people here and about 120 cars, bikes and commercials turned up.

“We plan to repeat this next year and extend the invite to local car and motorcycle clubs.”
