A police investigation is under way into a break-in at a house in Ballater.
Jewellery and electronic items valued at a high four-figure sum were stolen from the property in the Tullich area of the village.
The theft occurred between 11am and 5pm on Sunday, October 23.
Constable Andrew McNally, who is investigating the incident, said: “I would ask anyone who believes they saw anything suspicious in the area of Tullich, Ballater, around the time of this incident to contact police.
“A silver coloured Vauxhall Astra was seen in the area at the time and I would ask that if anyone remembers seeing this vehicle or has any information about it to contact us.”
