The next Deeside Business Networking event will be held on September 27 at Brathens Eco-Business Park in Banchory.
The event has a technology theme, with two expert speakers from the Deeside area.
Bruce Skinner of Banchory-based Pisys.net will provide advice on keeping your PC running smoothly and avoiding technical problems, including what individuals can do before calling for support, how to decide whether your hardware needs servicing, upgrading or replacing. He will also cover virus protection, and the benefits of Microsoft’s cloud computing and how it integrates with Office 2010.
Peterculter’s Margaret Timms, who runs Enterprises MET, will provide a detailed overview of Office 2010, focusing on the major changes which Microsoft has introduced, and will demystify some of the challenges that users of the new software may be facing.
There will be opportunities for informal networking before and after the talks.
