Traders and shop keepers in one Deeside town took a well earned break from running their businesses and had a ball... literally!
Banchory Business Association held it’s now annual Traders Ball on Saturday (November 2) evening at the town’s Tor-Na-Coille hotel.
Guests were treated to arrival drinks followed by dinner in the restaurant, they then danced the night away with live band Glitz playing for the crowd.
Strictly a ‘black tie’ affair, around 65 guests attended from the Banchory business community with companies including: Atholl Countrywear, Taylors of Banchory, Brian Smith Funeral Directors, DFS Sports, Deeside Photographics, Riah Hair & Beauty, Raemoir House Hotel, The Banchory Lodge Hotel, Rustiques, Harmony Florists, The Health Human Performance Centre, Roy Cowie Landbase Services, Deeside Cleaners, Aberdein Considine & Co, and Town Co-Ordinator Jan Leatham.
A dinner quiz was then held with local knowlege tested to the max under the theme of ‘All about Banchory’.
Brian Smith and guests took home the prize.
All funds raised on the night will now be going towards the Banchory Christmas lights and keeping the main streets of the town presentable over the festive season.
