Further rainfall has affected roads across the Grampian region, with Police Scotland co-ordinating the response to flooding incidents.
We can advise of the following road restrictions and closures:
Passable with care:
A980 Alford to B9119 road at Craigievar Hall, A97 at Lumsden, A944 Strathdon to Colnabaichin between Corgarff and Bellabeg.
The North Deeside Road is also affected by standing water, particularly between Dinnet and Banchory and drivers are urged to drive with care.
The following roads are CLOSED:
A93 Ballater to Braemar due to the closure of the Invercauld Bridge. There is NO ACCESS from Tomintoul into Braemar.
A93 one mile east of Crathie due to the road being washed away. Alternative route between Ballater and Crathie via B976 South Deeside Road
Mill of Steirn to Ballater long term closure due to damage.
B974 Banchory to Fettercairn, B976 between Strachan and Feughside Inn, B976 South Deeside Road at Inchmarnoch between Ballater and Dinnet, B979 Netherley Road at Maryculter Bridge, B9077 South Deeside Road between Leggart Terrace and the junction with the B979.
