Three community groups have benefited from over £7.5K thanks to the Kildrummy, Lumsden and Towie Community Fund.
The community fund, which is provided by Greencoat UK Wind, divided the donation between the three organisations.
Kildrummy Gun Club received £2233.62 to purchase a second clay pigeon trap.
Mark Morrison, chairman, Kildrummy gun club said: “Funds awarded by Kildrummy Lumsden & Towie wind farm have been invaluable. The grant allowed us to purchase essential equipment to progress the club much faster.
“We are now holding several shoots per year, coaching and encouraging new interest in the sport.
“We are continuing to fundraise ourselves and by doing so we are providing events within the local community.”
Other beneficiaries in this round include Lumsden School Parent Council who received £2300 towards the cost of a laptop, printer, scanner and gardening equipment and Silver Circle who have been awarded £3000 to purchase activity equipment and to help pay for two day trips for day centre users.
Emma Margrett, Community Executive, Foundation Scotland said: “We’re encouraged with the latest round of funding which is supporting a variety of groups and organisations working hard in the local community.
“We would encourage other groups to apply before the next deadline of 23 January.”
