A Cults woman has started a new chapter in her life after graduating from North East Scotland College with an HND in photography.

Lindsay Still, 47, had studied communication at the Aberdeen college when she was younger.

However, following the sudden death of her mother - who had looked after her children during her studies - she did not go on to graduate.

After being made redundant from her job as a support worker, Lindsay took the decision to return to college to study photography - something she had always loved.

She said: “I decided that this was the right time to go back and study what has always been my true passion.

‘‘However, shortly after the beginning of my course, my personal life and health suffered greatly.”

Lindsay was delighted to graduate this month with not just her HND, but also the highest mark possible for her graded unit.
