Reconstruction work on historic Rob Roy Bridge at Peterculter has been rearranged to minimise traffic congestion during the Banchory Show.
Work costing £530,000 is starting on Monday, June 27, and it had been scheduled for a full closure on the weekend of the show, which takes place on Saturday, July 30.
Some of the work is to be rescheduled so that one lane on the bridge can be kept open on the day of the event.
On that weekend, the full closure will only take place from 7pm on Friday, July 29, until 6am on Saturday.
The reconstruction is required to safeguard the future structural stability of the bridge and will take 26 weeks to complete.
