Floods wont stop DYMT

Dress rehearsals start next week for DYMT’s production of ‘Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat’ at Deeside Community Centre Theatre.

Cast members have been working hard to bring the show to the public on the 24, 25 and 26 of March.

Despite the fact that group’s members from Braemar and Ballater were affected by the recent flooding and are now facing temporary housing and financial difficulties, they have been dedicated, turning up to all rehearsals.

Cath Hendry, a Ballater resident, said “things have been difficult at times after the flooding but everyone has been determined that the show must go on”.

In recognition of this, the Aboyne and Deeside Rotary Club have kindly awarded a grant towards the cost of the production, and DYMT would like to thank them for this.
