The Marr Community Planning Group has announced upcoming Community Ward Forums, which will focus on Food Growing Projects.
All forums are slightly earlier than usual at 6:15pm for a 6:30pm start, finishing at 8:30pm, with sandwiches and hot drinks provided.
Ward 14 meets on Wednesday September 3 at Glamourhaugh Allotments, Bleachfield Street, Huntly.
Ward 15/16 meets on Thursday August 28 at the Tarland Community Garden.
There will be Walking and Talking Tours at both events, which includes a guided tour of the outdoor venues by the hosting project. The tours will highlight what can be achieved and how.
There will be two Ward 14 workshops and three Ward 15/16 workshops, led by a facilitator, all of which can be attended over the course of the evening.
Bite on the Side by local artist Norma Hunter will discuss the town’s Battlehill and Meadows woodlands the town’s Battlehill and Meadows woodlands.
The following workshops are on offer to each group: Greenmyres Farm (Ward 14 only), Banchory Allotments (Ward 15/16 only), and Tarland Bee Group (Ward 15/16 only).
