Landrover safari to Loch Callater

FORMER gamekeeper Peter Fraser, who for many years was in charge of Invercauld’s Callater beat, will lead a Landrover Safari from Braemar to Loch Callater as the Braemar Local History Group resumes its winter programme of events on Sunday, September 16.

The event is open to everyone who would like to come along and hear Peter talk about his life as keeper in one of the estate’s most beautiful locations.

Tickets are available from the Braemar Pharmacy and from Alistair Cassie’s in Ballater priced at £7.50 for adults and £4.00 for children. For that you will get transport from Braemar to the loch by 4x4 vehicle, leaving from the Fife Arms Mews at 4pm and a barbecue when you arrive at the loch.
