Banchory High Street is looking a bit smarter this New Year thanks to the work of Banchory Business Association.
A shop at the East end of the High Street has been given a makeover after lying empty for some time.
The original idea was put forward by Jerry Cobb (Banchory District Initiative) to Banchory Business Assocation, and following assistance from Loftus Signs the window graphics were installed.
The window features one of the winning photos from the 2015 Banchory Calendar.
The photo was taken by Mike Kerr of Banchory and features the River Feugh.
Copies of the photograph, which is busy brightening up Banchory, are available with donations going to SCILL, a local charity offering information about additional support needs.
Banchory based SCILL is made up of a mix of parents, carers and education and health professionals who share a common interest in the learning difficulties experienced by some children as they develop through their early years and then progress through the education system.
