Community representatives wanted for River Dee Radio
River Dee Radio is looking for community representatives to help promote the recovery from lockdown.
A new programme will be launched in late March to help support businesses, organisations and events throughout the spring, summer and autumn. The news type programme called Community Matters will feature information from communities up and down Deeside. The programme will be thirty minutes long and will feature conversations with local people about local businesses, organisations and events.
The station is looking for people who can give an hour once a month to help summarise what is going on in their community whether it is Drumoak,Durris, Banchory, Finzean, Torphins, Aboyne, Ballater or Braemar. They will also be a contact point to organise interviews with other people in the community. Each week a different community will be featured and the programme will be aired and shared amongst the River Dee Radio audience. Recordings will take place in the appropriate community.
