Police Scotland are appealing for information following bike thefts in Deeside that occurred last week on Tuesday, June 30.
The first incident took place between 2:45pm and 3:15pm, whereby two bicycles were stolen from a garage in the Station Road area of Banchory.
The bikes have a combined value of a low four-figure sum and were later recovered undamaged nearby. However, a low three-figure sum of damage was done to the garage during the act.
Police are keen to trace two males seen in the area at the time, described as being in their early 20s, between 5’8’’ and 5’10’’, wearing black tracksuit trousers and white trainers.
Police are also appealing for information regarding a white transit van seen in the area, driven by a male with a female passenger.
The van is described as an older model with two large rust spots above the wheel arch on the nearside.
Police are keeping and open mind about the possibility of the bycycle thefts being related to the quad bike thefts from Deeside Activity Park.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101.
