Deesiders have expressed their delight as an announcement from Kensington Palace confirmed the Duchess of Cambridge is expecting again.

The Countess of Strathearn’s second pregnancy was announced on Monday, September 8.

The Countess is reported to be suffering from the same severe morning sickness as she did when she was pregnant with Prince George.

This week’s royal announcement was made before the Countess reached the 12th week of her pregnancy, due to her morning sickness.

The next royal baby will be fourth in line to the throne, pushing Prince Harry further down the line of succession.

The Middleton family and the Royals are said to be delighted at the news of a brother or sister for Prince George.

First Minister Alex Salmond was among the first to congratulate the Royal couple on Twitter: “Congratulations and best wishes to the Earl andCountess of Strathearn.

‘‘ Wonderful to hear they’re expecting their second baby.’’
