A Ballater butcher has won a trio of top awards for sausage specialities.
HM Sheridan scooped three gold honours in the Scottish Craft Butchers competition, including one for a Storm Frank sausage.
The Ballater shop was recently visited by the Queen when she toured the village to see its recovery from last winter's devastating flooding.
The Storm Frank sizzler is made of venison and wild berry and the other successful sausage entries from Sheridan's were pork, cheese and spring onion, and pork and Iron Brew.
Barry Florence, HM Sheridan partner, said they were delighted to win three gold awards.
He added: "It's the first competition we have entered since reopening after Storm Frank.
"We said at the time we would bring out a sausage recipe to mark the event and it has proved very popular."
The awards were organised by the Scottish Craft Butchers and attracted an entry of more than 200 from sausage makers all over Scotland.
Judges were drawn from the meat industry and enthusiastic sausage aficionados.
