Last week saw the launch of this years’ Summer Marquee Ball Raffle tickets, with the first book being sold at Raemoir House Hotel.
The top prize this year is a weekend in Paris, including flights direct from Aberdeen and Hotel accommodation, kindly sponsored by local company Rubberatkins, owned by Nick Atkins, husband of Provost of Aberdeenshire, Jill Webster.
Logan Sangster of the Summer Marquee Ball Committee, said: “Nick and Jill have been long time supporters of the Summer Marquee Ball and we are truly grateful for their continued support over the years.
“There are many other fabulous prizes on offer in the Grand Raffle, drawn at midnight at the ball, including country dinners with accommodation, beauty spa days, fine wines and whiskys.
‘‘A host of experiences will also be announced nearer the time.”
Over 350 guests will attend the sell out event.
This year, the organisers are planning a few changes to the format of the evening to make it just a bit different to the previous balls.
The event, now in it’s 17th year, has raised over £300K for local charities
