TSB Bank funds were being donated at Christmas to worthwhile community projects throughout Scotland and one Lower Deeside village hall is now one of the lucky recipients.
The local Culter branch of the TSB presented Culter Village Hall representatives with a cheque for £100 last Tuesday, January 27, money which will go towards the Hall’s current renovation project.
Newly-appointed Village Hall administrator, Rachel Beedie, said: “We are delighted to receive this generous donation from the local branch of the TSB.
‘‘It will be going towards the cost of a new sign outside the hall, part of the redecoration and upgrading project we are currently undergoing.
The hall is self-funding (it is owned by the community) and we are always delighted for any donations we receive.”
