During the October holidays Woodend Barn in Banchory will be running a festival for families with children under 12.
‘Mini Fest’ is set to be a week of performances, workshops and creative activities, running from October 19 to October 23.
It will begin with Banchory Library holding a Bookbug Session on Monday, October 19, featuring stories, songs and rhymes. Then in the afternoon Woodend Barn will welcome the People’s Theatre Company, who will be performing their show called ‘How the Koala Learned the Hug’ - described as “a charming musical that features koalas, bubbles and magic”.
On the Tuesday there will be a “very special” dance experience from Stillmotion, with ‘We Dance Wee Groove’.
The rest of the week will offer robots, dinosaurs, superheroes, dance theatres, performances, workshops, and various other entertainments and activities.
