Parents interested in helping their child through the often stressful studying period prior to exams have help at hand.
Banchory charity SCILL are putting on a talk and workshop aimed at helping to solve this common problem, on Saturday, October 6 from 10.45am – 12.15pm at Banchory Christian fellowship church.
Speaker Moira Peck will be talking about how parents and carers can support their child to manage the organisation of study, studying processes and the stress associated with exams.
Learning styles will be looked at and there will be some workshop type activities to complement the talk.
There is a small fee of £5 payable on the day, refreshments included.
If anyone is interested in knowing more about the study skills talk/workshop or to book a place, they should contact Sue Rhodes 07913 326816 or email: SCILLfirstname.lastname@example.org
