The Banchory Boys Football Club has received a major sponsorship boost from Gibson NDT, courtesy of John Gibson.

The Inspection company, based in Banchory, has sponsored the team jackets for the whole of the Boys Club, covering the age groups from Under-9 to Under-19.

The Boys Club runs development teams playing 4 v 4 and 7 v 7 at primary school age.

They then progress to 11-a-side competitive teams from U13 to U19 and play in the ADJFA leagues in the Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire area.

John Gibson was able to present the jackets to Graeme Davidson (BBFC chairman) and some of the team managers and committee members at their recent club meeting.

A club spokesperson said: ‘‘The Banchory Boys are indebited to Gibson NDT for their contribution and will be wearing the jackets for all matches.

‘‘If anyone is interested in getting involved in the Banchory Boys Club, for playing or being part of the coaching set up, then please visit the club website http://www.banchoryboysclub.co.uk/ or come along to the Saturday morning sessions at KGV Park, Banchory from 10-11:30 am.
