Deeside RFC capped of their second title winning season in a row with a resounding 72-0 win over Shetland at Woodend last Saturday.
Following the match captain Sam Cooper was presented with the Caley 2 North trophy as the celebrations got underway in Banchory.
Deeside secured the title last weekend in Lochaber but showed no complacency against the Islanders as they recorded another bonus point win.
Deeside have topped the table since week one and have officially lost just two league games all season against Aberdeen Wanderers and Ross Sutherland.
Results against Kinloss Eagles, who dropped out of the league in March, were not counted in the final table.
Speaking after being confirmed as champions, coach Bruce Strachan said: “From my point of view the credit goes to a great bunch of lads who have worked hard under the watchful eye of myself, the main man in Eric Strachan with assistance from Chris Grange and Donald Ballantyne.
“Sam Cooper has lead the team very well over the last two seasons, two league titles in two seasons has never been done by the club before so this is one for the history books.
“The support we get from within the club is top notch from the Chairman Ian Finlayson and Vice-Chairman Alex Burnett, the whole club committee and to pluck a few key people; Sarah Fraser, James Cochrane-Dyet, Juliet Cochrane-Dyet, Mike Fraser and Jodie Gibb (Physio).
“We also need to thank Mike Munro and his team running the Caledonian region of Scottish Rugby, they have been great supporters of how we are approaching our Rugby here at Deeside Rugby.”
