Deeside’s youth teams put in some good performances at the annual Lathallan School Rugby Sevens tournament last weekend.
Throughout the day there were four competitions ongoing as Deeside came runners-up in two and third in another.

The U14s also had victories over Montrose and Carnoustie as well as Strathmore and, last year’s winners, Madras.
The game against Mackie could have gone either way but ended in a 2-1 defeat.
TheU16s team suffered defeats at the hands of Moray and Lathallan but were strong in their other four games to beat Harris AC, Mackie, Balforn HS and Montrose.
