“Control points are located using a map and compass at a walk, jog or run.
“It’s a great way for children to get fresh air and exercise while having fun and learning something new.”
The Banchory and Ballater Clubs will run on a Tuesday and the Aboyne Club will run on Thursdays.
Full information about the sessions and registration forms can be found on the club’s website at www.marocscotland.org.uk.

MAROC is one of Scotland’s most thriving orienteering clubs which, in spite of the relatively remote homeland, is a club that is blessed with some of the best Orienteering terrain in Britain.
It is also a club that frequently ‘punches above its weight’ when it comes to both competition and organisation.
The ancient Kingdom of Mar, lies in Aberdeenshire between the Rivers Don and Dee amidst spectacular scenery, extending from the sea to the mountains in the north east of Scotland.
