She was married to Grant, a Kiwi, in Aberdeen two years ago.
“I got my amateur status back two years ago which I really love. We now live in Auckland in a place called North Shore.
“I’m back to playing golf for me and have represented North Harbour Golf Club in a few events,” said Claire, who was Aberdeenshire champion in 1994 and North of Scotland champion in 1997.
Both victories were scored at Murcar Links.
Claire works for Subway Developments at their head office in Auckland, looking after 37 Subway stores.
