Point made for Culter

Culter started well and had an early chance after a series of corners when Taylor’s in-swinging corner was kicked off the line with the away team claiming it was over.

Culter made the breakthrough their play deserved in the 23 minute. Murray played the ball to Rintoul who forced Buchanan into a great save but only as far as Jamie McAllister who chested the ball down before slamming it into the net.

Culter doubled their lead in the 32 minute with one of the goals of the season. Great play by McAllister and Leith finished with McBain touching the ball down to Andrew Sim whose rocket of a shot flew past the rooted home keeper. HT 0-2.

Dyce were reduced to 10 men after 54 minutes when Gordon was sent packing after picking up a second yellow. But the 10men of Dyce were back in the match after 61 minutes. A deep cross to the back post was picked up by Kevin Stewart who rifled the ball past Pennet from the edge of the box.

It was all square in the 75 minute. Pennet produced another one-handed save to deny McNamee but the ball was cleared to the wing and crossed to Kevin Stewart whose downward header found the net.

Deep into time added on, the referee still had time to show Kevin Stewart a red card for a second yellow.
