Since 2006 the Castleton Dancers of Braemar have been dancing twice a week, every week, in the Fife Arms Hotel to raise money for various charities.
Their final collection there last week brought the total raised in eight years to the phenomenal amount of just over £70,000. The £400 collected in the last few weeks will be a welcome Christmas donation to local charity, Charlie House in Aberdeen.
Now that the Fife Arms has closed it doors for refurbishment, the Castleton Dancers are seeking new venues to continue with their charitable work.
