Fresh from Celtic Connections 2015, Scottish band the Bevvy Sisters is set to perform for Deeside audiences at Finzean Hall next month.
Voted BBC’s ‘Best of the Fest’ at last year’s Edinburgh Fringe, crowds can look forward to a performance mixing equal measures of sweetness and sass, grit and glamour, heartbreak and hilarity, cut with a dash of potent Scottish spirit.
Folk Radio said of the group: “The vocal power of Heather, Gina and Cera melds together with that combination of sass and class that is somehow edgy, thrilling and as sweet and sublime as a Michelin starred desert course.”
The group will perform a selection of contemporary and original songs that stand out from the crowd in both style and substance when they come to the local venue on March 14.
The event is BYOB with doors opening on the Saturday evening at 7.45pm.
There will also be a raffle on the night to raise funds for the Banchory Scouts.
The Scouts are currently raising money for their return expedition to Canada.
A total of 63 Scouts and 11 leaders have signed up for the trip, which is planned for 2016.
Tickets for the concert cost £15 and are available to buy from Jane Bennett via email at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 07971 296566.
