MP Sir Malcolm Bruce was on set as local drama group ‘Script to Screen and Stage’ started recording their most ambitious film production to date.
Members of the group, which develops the talents of youngsters from Deeside and Donside in script writing, improvisation, acting, camera work, editing and post-production on the stage and on film, will edit their version of ‘Grease’ for DVD.
Part of the production was filmed at Codona’s amusement park in Aberdeen on Sunday March 8.
Organisers Joyce Ogilvie and Edna Williamson said: “The cast have been busy sourcing their costumes and props and are looking fabulous!”
Sir Malcolm, whose son has attended Script to Screen and Stage classes in both Aboyne and Westhill, said: “I’m really looking forward to seeing their version of Grease.”
